26 ¹"Make the tabernacle from ten curtains: finely twisted linen with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, woven with cherubim by a skilled artisan. ²Each curtain: about forty-two feet long and six feet wide—all the same size. ³Five curtains join to each other; the other five join to each other. ⁴Make blue loops on the outer curtain's edge in the first set, and the same in the second set. ⁵Make fifty loops on the first curtain, fifty on the second set's curtain edge, matching each other. ⁶Make fifty gold clasps and join the curtains together with them, so the tabernacle becomes one.

⁷"Make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle—eleven of them. ⁸All eleven curtains: forty-five feet long, six feet wide, one size. ⁹Join five curtains separately, and six separately; fold the sixth curtain double at the tent's front. ¹⁰Make fifty loops on the edge of the first set's outer curtain, and fifty on the edge of the second set's curtain. ¹¹Make fifty bronze clasps, put them through the loops, and join the tent into one. ¹²The extra half-curtain from the tent is to hang down over the back of the tabernacle. ¹³The extra eighteen inches of curtain hangs down each side of the tabernacle, covering it on both sides. ¹⁴Make the tent's covering: rams' skins dyed red, and above, a covering of fine leather.

¹⁵"Make upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle. ¹⁶Each frame is to be about fifteen feet long and about twenty-seven inches wide. ¹⁷Give each frame two tenons, matching each other; make all the tabernacle's frames this way. ¹⁸Make twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle. ¹⁹Make forty silver bases under the twenty frames—two per frame, one per peg. ²⁰For the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, make twenty frames, ²¹and forty silver bases, two under each frame. ²²For the rear of the tabernacle, on the west, make six frames, ²³and make two frames for the corners at the rear. ²⁴They must be doubled from the bottom, joined together to the top at one ring—same for both, for the two corners. ²⁵So there will be eight frames and their silver bases—sixteen bases, two under each frame.

²⁶"Make crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames on one side of the tabernacle, ²⁷five for the frames on the other side, and five for the frames at the rear, westward. ²⁸The center bar is to run through the middle of the frames from end to end. ²⁹Overlay the frames with gold, make gold rings to hold the bars, and overlay the bars with gold. ³⁰Set up the tabernacle according to the plan you were shown on the mountain.

³¹"Make a veil: blue, purple, scarlet yarn, finely twisted linen, skillfully woven with cherubim. ³²Hang it on four gold-plated acacia posts with gold hooks, set on four silver bases. ³³Hang the curtain under the clasps. Bring the covenant chest in behind it—the curtain separates the holy place from the most holy. ^a a v33 This curtain kept the people apart from the most holy place where our Father's presence rested; its later tearing opened the way home into his presence. ³⁴Put the mercy seat on the ark of the covenant law in the most holy place. ³⁵Put the table outside the veil, the lampstand opposite it on the tabernacle's south side, the table on the north side.

³⁶"Make a screen for the tent entrance: blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely twisted linen, embroidered work. ³⁷Make five acacia posts for the screen, gold-covered, with gold hooks, and cast five bronze bases."
