The Father's Portion for Simeon
The last six allotments, tribe by tribe, with Simeon absorbed inside Judah's oversized share. Dan loses its territory and takes another by force up north. Only at the end does Joshua receive a town at our Father's command — the man who divided the land is served last.
19 1The second lot came out for Simeon, the tribe of Simeon's descendants, by their clans. Their inheritance lay within Judah's inheritance. 2They had as their inheritance Beersheba, Sheba, Moladah, 3Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem, 4Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah, 5Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah, 6Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen towns with their villages; 7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four towns with their villages; 8and all the villages around these towns, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah in the Negev—the inheritance of Simeon's tribe, by their clans. 9Simeon's inheritance came from Judah's share, since Judah's portion was too large for them; so Simeon inherited within Judah's territory.
The Father's Portion for Zebulun
10The third lot came up for Zebulun's descendants, by their clans. Their inheritance's border reached Sarid. 11Their boundary went up westward to Maralah, touched Dabbesheth, and reached the brook east of Jokneam. 12From Sarid it turned east, toward the sunrise, to Chisloth-tabor's border, on to Daberath, up to Japhia. 13From there it passed eastward to Gath-hepher and Eth-kazin, and came out at Rimmon, bending toward Neah. 14On the north the boundary turned to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah-el. 15It also included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem—twelve towns with their villages. 16This was the inheritance of the people of Zebulun according to their clans—these towns with their villages.
The Father's Portion for Issachar
17The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the people of Issachar according to their clans. 18Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem, 19Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath, 20Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez, 21Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez. 22The boundary touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan—sixteen towns with their villages. 23This was the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar's descendants, by clans—the towns and their villages.
The Father's Portion for Asher
24The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the people of Asher according to their clans. 25Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph, 26Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal; on the west it touched Carmel and Shihor-libnath. 27It turned east to Beth-dagon, touched Zebulun and Valley of Iphtah-el, went north to Beth-emek and Neiel, out to Cabul on the left, 28and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon. 29The border turned to Ramah and the fortified city of Tyre, turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea in the region of Achzib, 30with Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob—twenty-two towns with their villages. 31This was the inheritance of the tribe of Asher's people, by their clans—these towns with their villages.
The Father's Portion for Naphtali
32The sixth lot came out for Naphtali's people, for Naphtali's people by their clans. 33Their border ran from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, through Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum, ending at the Jordan. 34The border turned west to Aznoth-tabor, went on from there to Hukkok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan toward sunrise. 35The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth, 36Adamah, Ramah, Hazor, 37Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor, 38iron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh—nineteen towns with their villages. 39This was the inheritance of the tribe of Naphtali's descendants, by their clans—the towns with their villages.

The Father's Gift to Joshua
49When Israel finished dividing the land by its borders, they gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them. 50At our Father's command they gave him the city he asked for—Timnath-serah in Ephraim's hill country. He rebuilt it and settled there. 51These are the inheritances Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the family heads of the tribes of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh before our Father, at the tent of meeting's entrance. So they finished dividing the land.
