John 13

13 ¹Now, before di Passover festival, Jesus know say im hour don reach make e comot for dis world go meet im Papa. As e don love im own people wey dey for di world, e love dem reach di end. ²For supper time, di devil don already put am for Judas, di pikin of Simon Iscariot, im heart di plan to betray Jesus. ³Jesus, as e sabi say di Papa don give everytin into im hand, and say na from am e comot come and na back to am e dey go, ⁴e stand up from supper, comot im outside cloth, carry towel, and tie am for im waist. ⁵Then e pour water inside basin and start to wash im disciples dem foot, dey use di towel wey e tie for im body take dry dem. ⁶E come reach Simon Peter, wey tell am, “Oga, you wan wash my foot?”

⁷Jesus answer am, “You no go understand wetin I dey do now, but later you go understand.”

⁸“You no go ever wash my foot,” Peter talk. Jesus answer, “If I no wash you, you no get any share with me.”

⁹Simon Peter tell am, “Oga, no be only my foot, but my hand and my head sef!”

¹⁰Jesus tell am, “Person wey don bath only need make e wash im foot — e don clean finish. Una don clean, but no be all of una.”

Make Una Love Una Sef
