Psalms 1

1 ¹Blessing dey for di person wey no dey waka for di advice of bad people, wey no dey stand among people wey dey sin, wey no dey sidon for di seat of people wey dey make jest. ²but na for di law of our Papa im heart dey sweet, and na for im law e dey think day and night. ³E be like tree wey dem plant near water wey dey flow, wey dey bear im fruit for im own season, and im leaf no dey dry — and anything wey e do dey prosper.

⁴Na so e no be for di bad people! Dem be like chaff wey wind dey blow comot. ⁵Na why bad people no go fit stand for di judgment, and people wey dey sin no go fit stand among di gathering of people wey dey follow correct-and-holy way. ⁶Because our Papa dey watch over di way of people wey dey follow correct-and-holy way, but di way of bad people go perish.
