28 1Na you, my Papa, I dey call; my Rock, no close ear for me, because if you keep quiet for me, I go come be like people wey dey go down for pit.
2Hear as I dey beg you for mercy wen I dey cry give you make you help me, wen I lift up my hand toward your holy sanctuary.
3No drag me comot with di wicked people, with dem wey dey do evil, wey dey talk sweet word give dia neighbour while evil dey inside dia heart. 4Pay dem back according to wetin dem do, according to dia evil work; pay dem back according to di work of dia hand; bring back for dem wetin dem deserve. 5Because dem no send anytin for di work of my Papa or for di work of im hand, e go tear dem down and e no go ever build dem up.
6Make dem praise our Papa, because e don hear as I dey beg am for mercy. 7My Papa na my strength and my shield; my heart dey trust am, and e dey help me. My heart dey jump for joy, and with my song I dey give am thanks.
