Chapter 124.
124 1 If our Father had not been for us—let Israel say it now— 2 if our Father had not been for us when people rose up against us, 3 then they would have swallowed us alive, when their anger blazed against us; 4 then the waters would have swept us away, the torrent would have swept over us; 5 then the raging waters would have swept over us.
6 Blessed be our Father, who did not give us up as prey to their teeth! 7 We have escaped like a bird from the hunters' snare; the snare is broken, and we have escaped! 8 Our help is in the name of our Father, who made heaven and earth.
