Psalms 131

Book

A Child at Rest

A song of ascents. Of David.

Chapter 131.

My Father, my heart is not proud, and my eyes are not haughty; I do not busy myself with matters too great and too wonderful for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. Israel, put your hope in our Father, now and forevermore.
