Psalms 145

145 ¹ I will exalt you, my Father, my King, and I will bless your name forever and ever.

² Every day I will bless you, and I will praise your name forever and ever. ³ Great is our Father, and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

⁴ One generation will commend your works to another, and will declare your mighty acts. ⁵ I will meditate on the glorious splendor of your majesty and on your wonderful works. ⁶ They will tell of the power of your awesome deeds, and I will proclaim your greatness. ⁷ They will overflow with the fame of your abundant goodness, and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

⁸ Our Father is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in covenant love. ⁹ Our Father is good to all, and his heart of compassion rests over all that he has made. ¹⁰ All your works will give you thanks, our Father, and your faithful ones will bless you. ¹¹ They will speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, ¹² to make known your mighty deeds to the children of mankind, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. ¹³ Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. Our Father is faithful in all his words and gracious in all his works.

¹⁴ Our Father upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down. ¹⁵ The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in its season. ¹⁶ You open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

¹⁷ Our Father is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all his works. ¹⁸ Our Father is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. ¹⁹ He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. ²⁰ Our Father watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.

²¹ My mouth will speak the praise of our Father; let every living thing bless his holy name forever and ever.
