Psalms 146

Book

Hallelujah

Chapter 146.

Hallelujah! Praise our Father, my soul.

I will praise our Father while I live; I will sing to our Father as long as I breathe.

Do not put your trust in princes, in a mortal who cannot save you. His spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish. Happy is the one whose helper is the Father of Jacob, whose hope is in our Father,

He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; he keeps faithfulness forever. He brings justice to the oppressed; he gives bread to the hungry. Our Father sets the prisoners free. Our Father opens the eyes of the blind; our Father lifts up those who are weighed down; our Father loves the righteous. Our Father watches over the foreigners; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

Our Father will reign forever — your Father, Zion, to all generations. Hallelujah!
