Psalms 43

Book

Vindicate Me, My Father

Chapter 43.

Vindicate me, my Father, and defend my cause against an unfaithful nation; rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man. For you are my Father, my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I walk in gloom, oppressed by the enemy? Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. Then I will go to the altar of our Father, to him, my greatest joy; and I will praise my Father with the lyre. Why are you downcast, my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in our Father; for I will yet praise him, my salvation and my Father.
