Psalms 61

Book

A Cry From the Ends of the Earth

For the director of music; with stringed instruments. Of David.

Chapter 61.

Hear my cry, my Father; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, when my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than me. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.

I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah For you, my Father, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. Add years to the king's life; let his years span many generations. May he be enthroned before our Father forever; appoint your covenant love and faithfulness to watch over him. Then I will always sing praise to your name and fulfill my vows day after day.
